Plan the frame.
Shoot the plan.

Blockbox is a film set in a box. Describe the location, block the actors, light it and line up every shot in 3D. Then take the plan to set, or to a video model.

1 · Build

Describe the location.
Get the set.

Say where the scene happens. Blockbox builds it to size, and every piece stays yours to move, swap or measure.

2 · Block and light

Put everyone on their marks.

Place the actors, pose them and set the sun. Look at the whole set from outside, like a model in a box.

3 · Shoot

Line up the shots.
Play them back.

Pick a real camera and lens, move it through the action and see each frame as it will look, cut by cut.

4 · Hand it over

Every setup, measured.

The plan comes out drawn to scale: where each camera stands, how far from whom, and the lens it wears. Take it to set, or hand it to a video model.
